The Duchess of Sussex was pictured at the Three Horseshoes near Burford in Oxfordshire, where she spent time with DeGeneres and de Rossi during a relaxed pub outing. According to entertainment publication Page Six, the three women were seen chatting and laughing during the visit.
Photographs from the outing show Meghan dressed casually in white trousers and a pale blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up. The appearance offers the first publicly surfaced images of her since the Sussexes relocated to Britain.
The sighting comes after reports that Meghan had also been seen at Soho Farmhouse, an upmarket countryside retreat, although no photographs from that reported visit emerged. The Express reported the earlier sighting.
Meghan has kept a relatively low public profile in recent weeks as she and Prince Harry settle back in Britain. Her limited appearances have attracted attention, particularly because the couple’s return has placed renewed focus on how they are balancing their lives in the UK with their public commitments.
Prince Harry appeared in London on Monday evening, September 21, for the WellChild awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel. Meghan did not accompany him to the ceremony.
Her latest appearance was instead a private social outing with two longtime figures from the entertainment world. DeGeneres and de Rossi have previously been associated with Meghan and Harry, making the pub gathering notable despite its informal setting.
The photographs also provide a rare glimpse of Meghan away from official engagements and major public events. Rather than appearing at a formal ceremony, she was seen in a distinctly more relaxed setting in the English countryside.
