Heineken Lagos Fashion Week 2026 will see the beer brand return from October 29 to 31 with its “City of Cities: Where Taste Rules” concept, celebrating the fashion, culture and creative communities shaping Lagos. The programme marks another chapter in the brand’s decade-long partnership with the Nigerian fashion event, with new experiences planned across fashion, taste and social interaction.
Through the Heineken Lounge, Heineken Runway Showcase, Heineken Studio and the After Party, the brand plans to extend its presence beyond the runway, bringing together fashion enthusiasts, designers and other members of Lagos’ creative community.

First introduced in Lagos in 2025, “City of Cities: Where Taste Rules” reflects the city’s mix of cultures, styles and communities. The concept draws on the influences that shape Lagos, from fashion and music to food, art and social life, while exploring how individual tastes and shared experiences contribute to the city’s identity.
Heineken’s partnership with Lagos Fashion Week has developed over the past decade through initiatives connecting fashion, craftsmanship and creative expression. In 2022, the brand supported the sustainable fashion-focused Woven Threads initiative, followed by the Dyelab collaboration in 2023 and the H45 Collection in 2024. The introduction of City of Cities in 2025 added another dimension to the partnership, which continues in 2026 with a focus on connecting audiences with contemporary Nigerian fashion and culture.
This year’s Lagos Fashion Week theme, “CRAFTED”, places emphasis on artistry, intentional design, craftsmanship and more considered approaches to fashion and sustainability. Heineken’s planned activations will form part of the wider event experience, including the Heineken Lounge, a Cruise Collection runway showcase, Heineken Studio and the Heineken Studio After Party.
A major addition to this year’s programme is the Nigerian debut of Heineken Studio, which the brand describes as its “Playground of Innovation”. The concept explores different ways to serve and experience lager through experimentation, brewing expertise and discovery. Among the planned experiences are Foam Infusions, which will introduce guests to unexpected flavour combinations.
The introduction of Heineken Studio brings an experiential element to the brand’s participation in Lagos Fashion Week, placing greater emphasis on how visitors engage with taste and innovation alongside fashion and social experiences.
Sandra Amachree, Head of Marketing and Communications at Nigerian Breweries, said the partnership had continued to evolve alongside Lagos’ fashion and creative industries.
“For a decade, our partnership with Heineken Lagos Fashion Week has been a meaningful expression of Heineken’s connection to fashion, creativity and culture,” Amachree said.
She added that the continuation of City of Cities: Where Taste Rules would build on that relationship through experiences celebrating the people and ideas that shape Lagos. According to Amachree, Heineken Studio’s Nigerian debut would introduce a new dimension to the programme, giving guests opportunities to explore taste and innovation while connecting through a shared appreciation of fashion and culture.
The October 29 to 31 event will bring together the brand’s established fashion week activations and its new Studio concept under a programme that connects fashion, craftsmanship, taste and socialising. For Heineken, the 2026 edition continues a partnership that has moved beyond conventional event sponsorship to include a wider range of creative and experiential activities.
