72-Year-Old Great-Grandmother Turns Adult Content Creation Into a Retirement Business

DD White, a 72-year-old great-grandmother with eight great-grandchildren, has turned adult content creation into an unexpected retirement venture with her husband after decades working in the manufacturing industry.

White said the couple initially began recording intimate content for their own enjoyment. What started as a private activity later developed into an online business, leading her to launch an OnlyFans account and build a following on social media.

The couple have been married for 40 years after meeting at a Ladies’ Night event at a disco. White described her husband as a long-standing partner in both their personal life and their decision to explore adult content creation after retirement.

According to White, the couple had experimented with partner swapping earlier in their marriage but stepped away from that lifestyle while raising their blended family. They returned to it after their children and grandchildren had grown up, allowing them to revisit interests they had put aside during their family responsibilities.

Before entering the adult entertainment industry, White co-founded a manufacturing company and spent years working in the sector. Retirement eventually gave the couple more time to explore other interests, including recording content and sharing it on websites aimed at couples with similar preferences.

The response encouraged them to take the activity further. White said they received attention from viewers, including men who expressed an interest in meeting her. The growing interest led the couple to establish a dedicated adult-content website and create a more formal online presence.

The venture has since expanded beyond their original plans. White has developed a social media audience of nearly 35,000 followers on Instagram and, according to the report, has received four nominations for AVN Awards, which recognise achievements in the adult entertainment industry.

Her experience offers an unusual example of how retirement can lead people into work and activities far removed from their previous careers. Rather than treating retirement solely as a period of rest, White and her husband have used it to pursue a shared interest that has developed into a source of online income and public attention.

For White, the transition from manufacturing to adult content creation represents a significant change in professional direction. Her story also challenges conventional assumptions about ageing, intimacy and the kinds of work people choose to pursue later in life.
