Zlatan Ibile and Davita Omoniyi have brought another dimension to their traditional wedding celebrations, stepping out in coordinated lemon-yellow and mint-green outfits by Mazelle Bridal to honour the groom’s Yoruba heritage.

The couple’s second traditional wedding look offers a fresh change from their earlier burgundy and ivory ensembles, with the softer colour combination giving their latest appearance a distinct identity. Beyond the fashion statement, the outfit change continues a cultural story that began with their celebration of Davita’s Edo roots.
Davita’s custom gown is the centrepiece of the latest look. Designed in lemon yellow, the floor-length dress features a sculpted corset-style bodice, a sweetheart-inspired neckline and long sleeves that open into flared cuffs. Intricate mint-green appliques sweep across the bodice and skirt in floral-inspired patterns, while gold-toned accents add detail to the design.

She completes the ensemble with a large, pleated lemon-yellow gele and matching sheer fabric draped over her arm. A statement green necklace, coordinating earrings and a mint-green clutch bring the accessories together, reinforcing the colour palette without taking attention away from the gown’s detailed craftsmanship.
Zlatan complements his wife’s look in a custom mint-green agbada, also designed by Mazelle Bridal. The traditional Yoruba outfit features subtle embroidery across the chest, allowing the fabric’s colour and silhouette to remain prominent.

His accessories add to the cultural character of the ensemble. A structured fila, layers of white beads and a carved green walking stick complete the look, with the walking stick echoing the mint-green shade of his agbada.
Styled by Goodnews Emmanuel Icon, the couple pose hand in hand against a plum-coloured backdrop. The contrasting background brings out the brightness of Davita’s gown and the softer green tones of Zlatan’s outfit, creating a coordinated visual statement.

Their wedding wardrobe now reflects two distinct cultural chapters. The first look celebrated Davita’s Edo heritage, while the second places Zlatan’s Yoruba background at the centre of the celebration. Rather than relying on matching outfits alone, the couple have used traditional clothing, accessories and colour to give each appearance its own character.

The latest ensembles also highlight Mazelle Bridal’s approach to custom wedding design, combining traditional Nigerian silhouettes with fitted structures, decorative appliques and carefully coordinated accessories. Davita’s sculpted gown and Zlatan’s flowing agbada differ in form, but their shared colour palette connects the two looks.
For the couple, the change from burgundy and ivory to lemon yellow and mint green marks more than a wardrobe update. It continues a celebration in which fashion provides a visible expression of their respective cultural backgrounds, bringing Edo and Yoruba heritage into the same wedding story.
