Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month-pregnant girlfriend of Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen, escaped injury after being involved in a three-vehicle accident in Istanbul, Turkey, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
According to Turkey’s Demiroren News Agency (DHA), the 26-year-old model was driving an SUV at around 3:10 p.m. in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz when her vehicle reportedly struck the rear of a light commercial vehicle. The collision allegedly caused her to lose control of the SUV, which then crashed into another SUV travelling in the opposite direction.
All three vehicles sustained damage in the accident, but no injuries were reported.
Ladewig was taken to a private hospital in Istanbul for precautionary medical examinations because of her pregnancy. She was reportedly in good condition and was discharged after undergoing the checks.
Born in Berlin, Germany, Ladewig works as a model and shares fashion and beauty content on social media. She is in the final months of her pregnancy.
Osimhen, 27, is a Nigerian international striker who plays for Turkish football club Galatasaray. He is one of Nigeria’s prominent footballers and represents the country at international level.
