Burna Boy brought Nigerian music to the international sports stage with a headline-making halftime performance at the inaugural NFL Paris Game, held at the Stade de France in Paris. The Grammy-winning Nigerian singer entertained fans as the Pittsburgh Steelers faced the New Orleans Saints, combining some of his biggest hits with appearances from French music and sporting stars.

Returning to the 80,000-capacity Stade de France following his historic solo concert at the venue, Burna Boy opened his performance with “4 Kampe II”, his collaboration with French-Haitian singer Joé Dwèt Filé. The opening set the tone for a performance that moved between English, French and Haitian Creole, reflecting the international character of the occasion.
French singer Yseult later joined him on stage before Burna Boy moved into some of the most recognisable songs in his catalogue. The performance included “On the Low”, “Ye” and “Last Last”, giving the crowd an opportunity to sing along to tracks that have helped establish his international profile.

French judo champion Teddy Riner also made a special appearance during the show, adding another high-profile French connection to the performance. His presence, alongside Yseult and Joé Dwèt Filé, gave the halftime production a distinctly international feel, bringing together music and sport in front of the Paris crowd.
Burna Boy’s stage appearance was accompanied by a custom luxury streetwear outfit designed to match the scale of the event. He wore a structured oversized leather jacket with tailored cargo trousers, heavy silver neck chains and dark tinted sunglasses, completing a look that combined contemporary streetwear with his familiar bold stage style.
The NFL Paris Game performance adds to Burna Boy’s growing list of appearances at major international sporting events. The Nigerian singer has previously performed at the NBA All-Star Game and the UEFA Champions League Final kickoff show, taking his music to audiences beyond traditional concert venues.

His Paris visit also coincided with the launch of his debut sneaker collaboration with Swiss sportswear brand On. The release forms part of the brand’s “No Giant Stands Alone” campaign, extending his presence beyond music and into the international fashion and sportswear market.
Away from the stadium, Burna Boy was also spotted backstage catching up with French football star Paul Pogba, adding another notable encounter to his Paris weekend.
With a set featuring Nigerian hits, French musical talent and appearances from prominent sporting figures, Burna Boy’s NFL Paris Game performance brought together several elements of his international career in one of Europe’s largest stadiums.
