Ejiro Amos Tafiri has unveiled REVERIE, its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, at a private showcase in Lagos, Nigeria, on Sunday, October 25, 2026, presenting a new collection centred on reinvention, craftsmanship and the evolving identity of African luxury fashion.

The presentation took place alongside Lagos Fashion Week and attracted guests from the fashion and creative industries, including designers, industry leaders, fashion patrons and representatives of the British Council Nigeria. Among those in attendance was Nigerian chef and media personality Hilda Baci.
REVERIE explores the ideas of renewal and reinvention through contemporary African design. The collection brings together expressive silhouettes, detailed craftsmanship and a carefully selected colour palette, reflecting the fashion house’s approach to combining creative expression with established African design influences.
Founded in Lagos in 2010 by designer Ejiro Amos Tafiri, the fashion house has built its identity around expressive draping, fluid tailoring and the use of indigenous textiles. The designer, widely known as Nigeria’s “Drape Queen”, has spent 16 years developing a distinctive approach to luxury fashion that draws on African craftsmanship while engaging with contemporary international design.
The REVERIE unveiling followed another major event in the fashion house’s calendar. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Ejiro Amos Tafiri hosted the third edition of its Fashioning a Legacy: Leaving a Mark in Time conference at the British Council in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The conference brought together designers, stylists, retail professionals and emerging creatives for discussions on building sustainable careers and establishing lasting influence in the fashion industry. Its focus extended beyond clothing and design, addressing the professional development of people working across the wider fashion sector.
The two events offered different perspectives on the fashion house’s work. While the REVERIE presentation placed its latest designs at the centre of attention, Fashioning a Legacy focused on the people, knowledge and professional opportunities needed to support the industry’s continued development.

The collection also forms part of Ejiro Amos Tafiri’s 16-year milestone, marking more than a decade and a half of work in the African luxury fashion market. Its Lagos presentation will be followed by an exclusive showcase in Abuja on November 21, 2026.
The forthcoming event is expected to bring together members of the diplomatic community, government officials, fashion patrons and invited guests for another presentation of the fashion house’s work.
With REVERIE, Ejiro Amos Tafiri continues to explore how African textiles, craftsmanship and contemporary silhouettes can come together within a distinct luxury fashion identity. The collection also provides a starting point for the brand’s next chapter as it marks 16 years since its establishment.
