Australian model and swimwear designer Sahara Ray has died aged 34, her family has confirmed, months after welcoming her first child, a daughter named Snow.
In a statement to US celebrity news outlet TMZ, Ray’s family said she died on Sunday night in hospital, surrounded by loved ones. Her cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.
Ray, the daughter of Australian surfer Tony Ray, built a career in modelling and swimwear design. In 2014, she founded Sahara Ray Swim, her own swimwear label, establishing a business alongside her work in the fashion industry.
She also attracted public attention in 2016 after being photographed on holiday with Canadian singer Justin Bieber, bringing wider recognition to her name.
Her death comes just months after a significant milestone in her personal life. Ray gave birth to her daughter, Snow, in January 2026. The family has not publicly shared further details surrounding her death.
