Triple homicide suspect Ivan Miller of Blakesburg, Iowa, was arrested Thursday after authorities linked him to the deaths of three women found in Wayne County, Utah. Law enforcement tracked Miller across several states before taking him into custody without incident, ending a tense multi-state manhunt that drew national attention.
According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, investigators traced one of the victims’ vehicles from southern Utah into northern Arizona before it was abandoned in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Officers conducted a focused search in the area and located Miller, who was apprehended without confrontation. Officials confirmed there are no further threats to the public and no additional suspects are being sought.
The investigation began Wednesday afternoon when local authorities received a report of two women found dead along a hiking trail. While processing that scene, investigators discovered a third victim deceased inside a residence nearby. The victims included women in their 30s, 40s, and 80s. Authorities said the elderly woman found in the home did not appear to be connected to the other two, and names of the victims have not yet been released.
