Woman Accused of Shooting at Rihanna’s Mansion Faces Attempted Murder Charge

Woman accused of shooting at Rihanna’s mansion has been identified as 35-year-old Ivanna Ortiz. Police say Ortiz allegedly fired an AR-15-style rifle at the Grammy Award-winning musician’s Beverly Hills home on Sunday afternoon.

Authorities have charged Ortiz with attempted murder, and her bail has been set at $10.225 million. Investigators report that four rounds struck the front gate of the property while Rihanna was inside. No injuries were reported.

The singer, a billionaire artist originally from Barbados, shares her $14 million mansion with partner A$AP Rocky and their three children. Sources told The California Post that Rihanna was home at the time of the shooting. Los Angeles Police Department officials confirmed that the incident did not result in any physical harm.

This is not the first time Rihanna’s safety has been threatened. In 2018, a 27-year-old man scaled a fence to enter her Hollywood Hills residence while she was away. Prosecutors later identified him as Eduardo Leon. The intruder stayed inside the house for roughly 12 hours before being discovered by one of her assistants.

Leon eventually pleaded no contest to stalking charges. He was sentenced to a 10-year stay-away order preventing him from approaching Rihanna or her property.

The latest incident underscores ongoing security concerns for high-profile celebrities, particularly those whose personal lives are highly visible. Law enforcement experts note that attacks involving firearms on private residences of public figures remain rare but highly alarming. The case of Ortiz will be closely monitored as it moves through the legal system.
