China’s Nostradamus Predicts US-Iran War Will End in American Defeat

China’s Nostradamus, Professor Xueqin Jiang, has issued a striking forecast about how rising US-Iran tensions could unfold. Known for his ability to anticipate geopolitical events, Jiang has drawn international attention after two of his three predictions from 2024 have already come true.

In May 2024, while teaching at a high school in China, Jiang presented three major forecasts during his classes. Video clips of these predictions were later shared on his YouTube channel, Predictive History, which now has 1.87 million subscribers. Jiang, a Yale College alumnus, predicted first that Donald Trump would win the 2024 US presidential election and return to the White House. This prediction was later confirmed as accurate.

Jiang’s second forecast warned that a second Trump term would likely trigger a US war with Iran. Recent developments have already aligned with this prediction, particularly the ongoing US-Israel joint military operations known as Operation Epic Fury. The professor emphasized that Israel’s strategic interests were a key driver behind the conflict.

His third prediction concerns the outcome of the potential US-Iran war. Jiang argued that the United States would not succeed. Drawing on historical analogies, he compared a US invasion of Iran to the Sicilian Expedition of 415-413 BC, when Athens suffered a catastrophic defeat while attempting to seize Sicily from Sparta and its allies. Jiang stressed that Iran’s geography, demographics, and internal opposition would make any long-term occupation impossible. Early battlefield victories could quickly turn into strategic disasters due to stretched supply lines and the nation’s rugged terrain.

Jiang explained in one video, “If this war were to happen, there is absolutely no way America can win this war.” He uses a combination of historical analysis, recurring geopolitical patterns, and Game Theory to form his forecasts. Since 2022, he has taught history and philosophy at Moonshot Academy in Beijing, grounding his predictions in both historical precedent and strategic reasoning.

Observers note that Jiang’s forecasts have captured global attention not only for their accuracy but also for the clarity with which they outline the limits of military power in complex geopolitical environments. As the US-Iran tensions continue to evolve, his predictions are shaping debates about international strategy and the potential shifts in the global balance of power.
