Mike Tyson’s loss to Jake Paul has left many fans disheartened, but not The Game.
After Tyson’s unanimous decision defeat by Paul in their high-profile boxing match on Friday (November 15), the Los Angeles rapper quickly took to social media to express his thoughts. On his X account, The Game posted: “I see all these celebrities talking trash about Mike looking bad, calling it sad and disgusting… y’all trippin’. I saw a 58-year-old icon go eight rounds with a 27-year-old in front of a packed stadium and walk away with $20 million, his pride intact, and yet another milestone in his career. I’m proud of you, champ!!!”

A few hours later, The Game shared a screenshot of his message on Instagram, adding: “@MikeTyson you were my hero growing up and nothing has changed since then!!!! Thank you for everything you’ve done for the culture, both then and now.”
When he’s not commenting on boxing, The Game has been busy finishing The Documentary 3. In a series of Instagram updates this past August, he shared that he’s nearing completion of the album, the third installment in the series that began with his 2005 debut and continued with a sequel ten years later.
“The Documentary is on the way,” he teased in one post. “All you need is patience, and you’ll receive the blessing.”
In another post, he shared his dedication to the project: “I’ve been in the studio every day for the past three weeks…12-14 hours a day.”
