Tyler, The Creator New Album Surprises Fans With Bold Sound and Doechii Collab

Tyler, The Creator new album just dropped and fans everywhere are tuned in. The project, titled Don’t Tap the Glass, became available today at 6AM EST, catching the internet in a frenzy. This marks Tyler’s ninth studio album and comes while he is still touring globally for his 2024 project, Chromakopia.

The announcement came just days ago, yet the energy around it has been electric. While Tyler has kept the details close to the chest, the official cover art has already gone viral. It features a raw, stripped-down shot of Tyler shirtless, flexing a bold and sculpted physique that matches his unapologetic style.

Even without a full tracklist released publicly at first, there was already buzz around one specific collaboration. During Paris Fashion Week, Tyler and Doechii debuted a song called Get Right at the Louis Vuitton show. The beat was driven by Pharrell Williams, whose signature percussion gave it an intense feel. Listeners were quick to draw comparisons to Kanye West’s Yeezus era. While it’s still unclear if Get Right is officially part of Don’t Tap the Glass, it has undeniably fueled anticipation.

Tyler’s respect for Doechii is genuine and deep. He first came across her work via YouTube, stumbling upon either Catfish or Nissan Altima. What started as a moment of curiosity quickly became admiration. As Tyler recalls, he couldn’t stop watching and ended up messaging her directly. In his words:
“I was like, ‘Damn, this girl pretty as hell.’ Then I clicked it and was blown away. I just kept watching and going deeper. Eventually I hit her up and said, ‘I’m gonna need you in a few months.’ Then we linked and yeah, she’s incredible.”

That connection went beyond online messages. Tyler brought Doechii out during his Los Angeles stop on the Chromakopia tour, where the crowd saw firsthand how much he values her. Speaking directly to fans, he said:
“I’m so happy she exists. We have to keep supporting everything she does. Keep supporting art.”

Doechii feels the same way. In an interview last September, she named Tyler, The Creator as one of her top influences. Their chemistry on stage and in the studio reflects something more than just musical synergy. It’s a real collaboration rooted in mutual respect and creativity.

For fans of Tyler, The Creator new album releases have always been an event. But this one feels different. It dropped during an active world tour, with minimal promotion, and at a time when his influence in both music and fashion continues to grow.

With Don’t Tap the Glass finally out, listeners will be dissecting every verse and beat for the next few weeks. One thing is certain though, Tyler is far from done. This album might be the most personal and daring he has released yet.
