ITB Berlin is taking things up a notch in 2025 with its Travel Technology segment, aiming to become the ultimate global hotspot for tech-driven innovations in the travel industry. Set for 4 to 6 March 2025, the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show will host an even broader range of displays and exhibitors from over 40 countries, spread across six dynamic halls—5.1, 6.1, 7.1c, 8.1, 9, and 10.1. Visitors can expect to see a full spectrum of cutting-edge technological solutions. Meanwhile, the popular eTravel Stage will return with an exciting lineup of panel discussions, keynote speeches, and presentations.
In Halls 5.1 and 6.1, industry giants like Amadeus and Sabre will dominate the spotlight, while Travelsoft will showcase its offerings, featuring ATCORE Technology and traffics. After a few years’ hiatus, Ypsilon.net will be making a return. Halls 7.1c, 8.1, and 10.1 will focus on hotel software solutions, with additional displays in Hall 9. Hall 6.1 is where the real innovation buzz will be, housing numerous startups and exciting breakthroughs from names like Startup Turismo from Italy, ICEX España, and Business France. This year, there’s a noticeable uptick in exhibitors showcasing eSim, AI, and payment products. For the first time, major players like VISA and Stripe will be part of the exhibition in Hall 10.1.
Tech like AI continues to be a hot topic, but automation also gets its moment in the spotlight this year. Exhibitors like Casablanca.ai and Aphy.com will present AI-powered applications to streamline hospitality workforce management, introducing solutions like home bots that make operations run smoother.
Housekeeping tech is another interesting trend, with companies like Sweeply in Hall 10.1 and Flexkeeping in Hall 7.1c demonstrating tools designed to make hotel management and room cleaning more efficient. There’s also a strong focus on customer relationship management (CRM), booking efficiency, and direct booking solutions—key areas explored across all the tech halls.
For those keen to dive deeper into specific technological advancements, ITB Berlin is introducing an ITB-guided tour of the Technology Halls for the first time. Aptly titled “Future Ready with Tech Innovations,” this tour will take visitors to four to six exhibitors, providing a glimpse into some of the most fascinating developments in travel tech.
The ITB Innovators program enters its third round this year, offering a sneak peek into emerging trends, including software solutions, benchmarking services, virtual assistants, and more. Networking will also be a big theme at the event. Tech enthusiasts can connect and share ideas at the Travel Tech Café powered by GIATA in Hall 5.1 or the eTravel Lounge powered by Travelport in Hall 6.1.
The eTravel Stage in Hall 6.1 will host a packed schedule of timely discussions and presentations. Highlights include:
- March 4th: Tino Klaehne, Director of Strategic Innovation & Intelligence at Lufthansa Innovation Hub, will open the event with a keynote on trends shaping the future of travel.
- Later that day, the Hotel Technology Track will feature a session on “Vacation Rentals Innovation at Scale,” with Dr. Patrick Andrae, co-founder and CEO of HomeToGo, exploring how tech can drive success in a fragmented market.
- March 5th: Douglas Quinby, CEO of Arival, will kick off the morning with insights on the future of travel experiences. In the afternoon, Mary Li, founder and CEO of Atlas, will present “Welcome to our New Digital Employees: How AI Supports a Human Company Structure” as part of the AI Track.

Eirik Skjærseth, CEO of Bolder, will close the Destination Tech Track with a presentation on “Digital Humanism: Bridging Technology and Hospitality for Tomorrow’s Guest.”
All sessions will be available for direct viewing at the show and will also be livestreamed on the ITB Navigator. After the event, they can be revisited on ITB Berlin’s YouTube channel.
With one of the most extensive ranges of travel tech on display, coupled with a stellar program of discussions and networking opportunities, ITB Berlin 2025 is set to be the event to watch for anyone looking to explore the future of the travel industry.
