Radisson RED Central London Hotel Set to Open by 2029

Radisson RED Central London is officially in the pipeline as Radisson Hotel Group partners with PPHE Hotel Group to launch the brand’s first location in the capital’s core. The hotel is set to rise on Leman Street, an area that connects the City of London’s business district with the creative east end, all within walking distance of major transport links and iconic landmarks like Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

This new development is part of PPHE’s strategy to grow its presence in key urban markets. The group has secured a mixed-use site where two outdated office buildings will be taken down to make room for the hotel. The finished project will include a minimum of 182 rooms, plus a bar, restaurant, gym, and office space. The development will aim for a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ sustainability certification.

The transaction is expected to close in the coming months, with the opening scheduled for 2029. Radisson RED is known for its design-forward personality and relaxed service style. It blends upscale efficiency with a playful edge, appealing to modern travelers and city culture alike. The brand has already made its mark in Berlin and Belgrade, and this London launch will solidify its standing in major global cities.

Radisson Hotel Group’s Executive Vice President, Elie Younes, commented on the ongoing partnership with PPHE, pointing out that over 65 percent of their owners operate more than one property under the group’s umbrella. He credited the brands’ strong positioning and reliable performance for this high level of loyalty.
