Radisson Hotel Group expansion in France is moving forward at a remarkable pace, marked by new signings, renovations, and openings that confirm the country’s role as one of the company’s most strategic markets. Backed by solid partnerships with major real estate firms including Covivio and Byron Capital, the group is building a stronger presence in destinations that matter both to business and leisure travelers. This strategy blends luxury lifestyle properties with upscale hotels, ensuring that Radisson maintains a balanced footprint in France.

Elie Younes, Global Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President at Radisson Hotel Group, emphasized that more than 65 percent of owners worldwide operate more than one hotel with the brand. He pointed to the trust of owners, the loyalty of guests, and the relevance of Radisson’s portfolio as the main reasons for this success. The French market is considered a key priority, and the latest round of signings has taken the company’s portfolio in the country to 34 hotels in operation and under development. This highlights Radisson’s dual strength: global scale combined with a clear understanding of local markets.

One of the most anticipated projects is Banke Opera Paris, A Radisson Collection Hotel, which will open in the third quarter of 2026. The historic building, located on rue de La Fayette within walking distance of Galeries Lafayette and Opéra Garnier, was first constructed in 1907 and converted into a hotel in 2009. Following its recent acquisition by a Spanish family office, the 90-room property is undergoing a full renovation that will combine Belle Époque character with contemporary design. A Gustave Eiffel-designed staircase and a 19th-century atrium will serve as focal points, while modern features will include wellness facilities in the former vault and versatile event spaces.
At the end of 2025, the Radisson Blu Hotel Paris Roissy CDG Airport is scheduled to open, strengthening the group’s presence at one of Europe’s busiest hubs. Positioned directly opposite Terminal 3 and connected to the Roissy Val train station, the 305-room hotel will be ideal for travelers in transit as well as business guests. Renovations planned for 2026 will enhance the reception area, dining facilities, and guest arrival experience. With 1,500 square meters of meeting space, along with a terrace, spa, hammam, fitness center, and indoor pool, the hotel will establish itself as a leading choice for corporate events and conferences. This project reflects Radisson’s partnership with Covivio and their shared commitment to delivering value in prime locations.

On the Côte d’Azur, Radisson Resort Cannes will open in 2026 after a full transformation led by Byron Gestion. This 100-room beachfront property in Cannes La Bocca will stand out as an urban resort just minutes from La Croisette and the Palais des Festivals. Guests will enjoy direct beach access, landscaped gardens, sea views from most rooms, and private balconies in many cases. An outdoor pool and modern design will add to its appeal for both leisure travelers and event guests.
In central France, Hôtel Beaux Arts Bourges, a member of Radisson Individuals, will open in 2027. Located near the city’s main square, the 52-room boutique property will offer a historic atmosphere in a district known for its charm. The timing is significant, as Bourges has been named European Capital of Culture for 2028, making the hotel perfectly placed to capture increased tourism and cultural visitors.
The group’s future pipeline in France also includes Hotel & Spa Amoria La Baule, set to open in late 2025 as a coastal wellness retreat, Maison Rivoli Paris, a Radisson Collection Hotel scheduled for winter 2027 with a residential-style luxury concept, and Radisson Blu Hotel, Triangle Paris, expected in 2027 as part of the landmark Triangle development with a strong focus on sustainability and architectural innovation.

These upcoming openings build on recent achievements such as Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel, which opened in a restored 14th-century mansion in the heart of Vieux Lyon, and Radisson Blu Hotel, Montpellier, which has introduced elevated comfort to one of southern France’s most dynamic cities. The portfolio also includes Le Relais de la Malmaison near Paris, a Radisson Individuals property that blends tranquility with character.
The current wave of projects shows how Radisson Hotel Group expansion in France is redefining hospitality across different regions, from Paris to Cannes and from Bourges to La Baule. With strategic partnerships, a balanced brand offering, and a focus on both history and modernity, the group is setting the stage for long-term success in one of Europe’s most competitive hotel markets.
