Ohio Man Indicted For Killing Pregnant Girlfriend

Ohio man indicted for killing pregnant girlfriend is a story that has gripped Hamilton County and left an entire community shaken. What should have been the happiest moment in the life of 26-year-old India Kinamore turned into a planned act of violence carried out on the very day she was due to give birth. Prosecutors say that instead of preparing to welcome his child, 30-year-old Kayvon Warren was arranging her death.

According to investigators, Warren asked his boss for bereavement leave before the murder even took place, signaling that he was already anticipating her death. On March 4, 2023, the day Kinamore was due to deliver their baby, she was shot and killed inside her Colerain Township home. Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich called the case one of the most heartbreaking indictments she has seen. Announcing the 13-count indictment against Warren and two other suspects, Pillich said, “This should have been one of the happiest days of India’s life. Instead, the father of the child conspired with two others to kill her. It is heartbreaking. My office will see that justice is done for both India and her baby.”

Authorities say Warren had been seeing another woman, struggling financially, and had even lost his home. He reportedly pressured Kinamore to have an abortion but she refused. Prosecutors allege that instead of facing his responsibilities, he turned to murder. Warren is accused of hiring 20-year-old Robert Ervin and 22-year-old Lamar Morris Suggs to help him carry out the crime. The three men allegedly broke into Kinamore’s home around six in the morning, planning to stage the killing as a burglary gone wrong. After she was shot and killed, all three fled the scene.

Detectives and officers from the Colerain Township Police Department spent months working through dozens of interviews, analyzing financial documents, and reviewing phone records before breaking the case. Their investigation eventually led to last week’s indictments. Warren has been charged with aggravated murder, burglary, and felony assault. Ervin and Suggs face the same charges, with additional weapons charges filed against them.

Court records show that Warren is being held without bail at the Hamilton County jail. Ervin remains in custody on $300,000 bail, while the conditions of Suggs’ bail have not been released. If convicted, each of the three men could spend the rest of their lives in prison.

The case of an Ohio man indicted for killing pregnant girlfriend has struck a nerve both locally and across the country. It raises questions about domestic violence, responsibility, and the failures that can occur when one person places their own interests above the lives of others. For India Kinamore and the baby who never had a chance to be born, prosecutors insist that justice will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
