Drake continues to feel the heat from Team Kendrick, with Mustard throwing subtle shade at the 6 God during his performance at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.
The acclaimed producer and DJ took the stage at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on Sunday night (November 17), where he pulled a fast one on the crowd by setting up Drake’s “Crew Love” featuring The Weeknd from Take Care. But just before the track could drop, Mustard grabbed the mic, shouted, “Sike!” and swiftly switched gears, playing Kendrick Lamar, Future, and Metro Boomin’s fiery track “Like That”—the very song that helped spark the ongoing rivalry between the two rap giants.
Mustard’s loyalty to K.Dot was evident throughout his set, particularly when he kicked things off with a dramatic rendition of “Not Like Us,” a track he, of course, produced. As the stadium plunged into darkness, unsettling lines from The Sixth Sense echoed throughout the venue, only to morph into the opening line from Kendrick’s diss track: “Psst, I see dead people.”
The lights then flashed on to reveal Mustard at the turntables, with a massive mural behind him celebrating the City of Angels. The mural featured images of Kendrick, Nipsey Hussle, and Kobe Bryant, as well as a tribute to the World Series champions, the L.A. Dodgers.

This isn’t the first time Mustard has aimed a subtle jab at Drake. Back in the summer, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the 10 Summers producer dismissed the idea of collaborating with his former “Who Do You Love?” partner, calling him a “strange” character. “I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude. He’s a strange guy,” Mustard said bluntly.
Fans also speculated that Mustard took a dig at Drake by wearing a Toronto Blue Jays cap in Kendrick’s Not Like Us music video, but the producer later clarified that the hat was simply a nod to his Los Angeles roots.
“I wasn’t trolling. I really wasn’t trolling,” Mustard explained in an interview with Big Boy. “I bought a lot of hats that I like. I bought an STL hat, an Angels hat, a Braves hat. I put Faith of a Mustard Seed on all of them.”
He went on to explain the significance of the hat: “I sweated out two of my hats at Pop Out [Kendrick Lamar’s Inglewood concert], and that was the last hat I had with Faith of a Mustard Seed on it. It just happened to be a Toronto Blue Jays hat.”
Mustard further clarified, “I grew up in the Jungles, we all wear that hat. I mean, I wear the NY hat—that’s Nip’s hat, the neighborhoods. Our hats mean a lot of different things, so I never overthought it like, ‘Oh, I’m trying to troll y’all.’ If I was on that, I would’ve probably taken the Blue Jay off and put an X between it. But I wasn’t on that, though.”
