Megan Thee Stallion is starting her “Hot Girl Summer” strong after making a surprise guest appearance on the latest episode of Love Island. The Houston-born rapper brought the heat immediately by hosting a twerking contest that got everyone moving. She also challenged the cast to test their limbo skills and introduced two new contestants to the audience.
The most talked-about moment was definitely the twerking competition. Megan put the Love Island guys and girls through their moves to see who could shake it best. Fans and cast members loved it, especially when Megan asked one contestant for her booty routine. Megan said, “Baby, Olandria, what is the booty routine for real? I don’t know how many screenshots I got of you, for real.”
Away from the party vibes on Love Island, Megan Thee Stallion’s legal issues with Tory Lanez are still ongoing. Tory Lanez, currently incarcerated, denies shooting Megan and claims he has evidence to prove his innocence. However, Megan’s legal team strongly rejects these claims.
Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, said, “Despite Mr. Lanez being convicted at trial by overwhelming evidence, including his own admission of guilt, he and his team keep pushing misleading stories. They try to bring in anyone they can to support their false narrative.”
Spiro added, “Their false claims keep falling apart. The truth is clear: he was convicted by strong evidence. Those who try to harm the victim should be called out for what they are.”
There have been rumors about new witnesses or new Ring doorbell footage that could change the case. Megan’s lawyer dismissed these rumors as not credible.
Critical evidence used to convict Tory Lanez included testimonies from Megan and a witness named Kelsey Harris. Both said Tory Lanez offered them $1 million each to stay silent about the shooting incident. There were also text messages from Lanez apologizing to Megan for shooting her.
DNA evidence further supported the case, showing a 90 percent chance that the shooter was a man. This helped confirm the court’s decision against Tory Lanez.
