Maya, 30, and Ruben, 27, have reportedly been seeing each other in private since they first crossed paths at the EMAs back in November. That brief moment clearly sparked something, and things have grown from there.
Over the past few months, Maya has popped up at several City games, cheering from the stands and watching Ruben play live. But this week marked the first time the pair were captured together — kissing, holding each other, and sharing quiet moments at the Copper Box Arena. A clip shared by The Sun shows the footballer keeping a low profile in casual wear and a cap as he affectionately leaned into Maya’s neck.
An eyewitness at the event shared some insight, saying, “Maya and Ruben looked really close and happy. You could tell they were into each other. Even though they chatted with others around, they always came back to one another.”
The Baller League outing was also perfectly timed — just a day earlier, Maya had joined Ruben at Wembley Stadium to celebrate City’s 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup. She didn’t come alone either. Maya made it a full family affair, bringing her mum Sadie and her brother Omar along. On the way to the match, she posted a video from the car, writing, “Family day out to Wembley.”
Earlier this week, she also sparked a bit more curiosity when she shared another moment from what looked like a date night in London. She was pictured holding a bouquet of red roses while dining at Alexander The Great, a cozy Greek spot in Camden. In a short clip, she admired the setting and said, “This restaurant looks so cute, they put flowers on our table.”
Sources close to the couple say things are moving forward fast. Last week, it was reported that Ruben had introduced Maya to his mum, Bernadette — a sure sign that this relationship is getting more serious.
