LeBron returned to the court on Tuesday night in a strong performance that gave the Lakers a 140-126 win over Utah. He finished the game with a double-double and later shared that life at home feels different now that Bronny no longer lives under the same roof.
In a post-game conversation, LeBron explained that they do not talk as often these days because Bronny recently moved out and now lives on his own. He said: “He is not a resident anymore, so we do not talk as much. He has his own place. But he is great.”
LeBron added that watching Bronny grow into adulthood has been exciting. He noted that at 21, Bronny is still learning and improving every time he steps on the court. “It has been great to see and to watch his growth. And he is still young. He turned 21 not too long ago. He is still learning and getting better with each and every rep,” he said.
Bronny, who turned 21 on October 6, has already played 10 games for the Lakers this season. He is averaging 11.1 minutes per game along with 2.1 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. While he is still finding his rhythm, his presence in the lineup signals a new chapter in both his professional career and his personal independence away from home.
The change also marks a new stage in the father-son relationship. LeBron remains supportive, but the dynamic is naturally shifting as Bronny continues to establish his path as a young adult and NBA player.
