Las Vegas explosion rocked the Strip in the early hours of Saturday, lighting up the area outside Aria Resort and Casino. Two palm trees caught fire after what witnesses described as a sudden and powerful blast.
Videos shared across social media showed flames rising high, with stunned onlookers describing the sound as something close to a bomb. One person near the scene reported hearing a massive bang, followed by a suspicious car speeding away from the area.
First responders from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Clark County Fire Department arrived shortly after and managed to bring the fire under control.

LVMPD later issued a statement saying that fireworks were thrown from a moving vehicle, sparking the fire. No injuries have been reported.
Authorities are still looking into who was behind the fireworks incident that caused panic on the Strip. Thanks to the quick response from emergency teams, the fire was put out before it could spread further.
