Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Wedding Is Happening This Summer.
Jeff Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, are finally locking down their wedding plans two years after getting engaged, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The couple announced their engagement in May 2023 when Bezos, one of the richest men in the world, proposed with a massive pink diamond ring — so large that Sanchez admitted it nearly made her “black out” when she saw it.
To celebrate their engagement, the pair threw a lavish party aboard Bezos’ superyacht last summer. The guest list was as exclusive as it gets, featuring big names like tech mogul Bill Gates, Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio, and Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner.
Initially, rumors swirled about a “winter wonderland wedding” set for December 28 in Aspen. But when the day came and went without a ceremony, speculation started to grow.
However, a source close to the couple told Daily Mail that the wedding is very much “still on” and is scheduled for this summer. The source confirmed that plans have been finalized and invitations are expected to go out soon.
Sanchez has reportedly already chosen her wedding dress, opting for a design from Oscar de la Renta.
Back in November 2023, Sanchez shared that she plans to take Bezos’ last name once they’re married. “Uh, yes, one hundred percent. I am looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos,” she said.
Sanchez has often spoken openly about her love for Bezos. “He’s so happy, he inspires me every day. He makes me a better person every day. He’s the most loving human I know,” she gushed in one interview.
Bezos, now 61, has also been vocal about his admiration for Sanchez. Speaking to CNN, he said, “Lauren is the most generous, most big-hearted person that you would ever meet… She never misses a birthday. The network of people that she gives birthday presents to is gigantic. And that’s just a small example.
“We’re really great teammates, and we also have a lot of fun together. And we love each other.”
Bezos was previously married to novelist MacKenzie Scott for 25 years. They share four children.
With summer just around the corner, it looks like Bezos and Sanchez are finally ready to make it official — and it’s bound to be nothing short of spectacular.
