Actor Jamie Foxx Rejects Rumors of Hidden Child in Viral Social Media Post.
Jamie Foxx‘s family has strongly denied claims that the actor has fathered an illegitimate child.
Foxx’s nephew took to Instagram in a viral video to set the record straight, confirming that Foxx is not the father of the alleged son.
“I’m the closest he has to a son,” Foxx’s nephew said in the clip, with Jamie himself confirming the statement when asked. “I ain’t got no son,” Foxx replied. His nephew laughed it off and urged social media to stop spreading false rumors.
The rumor first emerged in January 2025 when a man appeared online claiming to be Foxx’s unrecognized son and accused the star of neglect. He claimed they hadn’t seen each other in three years and called Foxx a “deadbeat dad.”
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), the man, sitting in a car, vented his frustrations, saying Foxx never supported his dreams and was always “too busy.” He reminisced about their last meeting, saying, “We took pictures at the red carpet. That was the last time I saw him.”
Jamie Foxx is already a father to two daughters, Corinne Foxx and Anelise Bishop, and has always been private about his family life while still occasionally sharing moments with his children. In his recent stand-up special, Foxx took a moment to praise his daughter Anelise’s guitar skills, as the two performed together. He also reflected on how his eldest daughter cared for him during his recovery from a brain bleed, which caused him to step away from the spotlight for a year before returning to full health.
