Ghana Morocco visa-free agreement has officially taken effect, allowing Ghanaian citizens to travel to Morocco without applying for a traditional visa. The announcement came directly from Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, in a statement made on Facebook.
The new travel policy replaces the old visa system with a digital travel authorization, which can be approved within 24 hours. Ghanaians no longer need to visit embassies or go through time-consuming paperwork. This change marks a powerful shift in how both countries are working to open up access across Africa.
“This is one of the key agreements we achieved with Morocco’s Foreign Minister, H.E. Nasser Bourita, during my two-day working visit,” Ablakwa confirmed.
