Sluts Against Techno, Amapiano Vibes, and Queer Club Icons Set for Flow Festival X Garden

Flow Festival X Garden
Flow Festival 2025 kicks off with an electrifying program at X Garden, a club space that draws its heartbeat from the underground.

Running from August 8 to 10 in Helsinki, the stage will host a carefully curated lineup by three collectives, each bringing its own sound, energy, and story. The focus this year is on inclusivity, cultural exchange, and the raw joy of music that moves people.

Friday – Sluts Against Techno Brings the Bimbotechno Spirit

Friday belongs to Sluts Against Techno, a Helsinki-based collective known as the city’s first “bimbotechno” crew. Their mission is to amplify the voices of women, queer people, and gender minorities while creating a dancefloor where everyone can feel at home.

The night features DJ Fuckoff from Germany, whose provocative lyrics and high-tempo beats promise an unforgettable set. Clementaum from Brazil will add her signature blend of global club sounds and fierce stage presence. A back-to-back set from Evissimax and s4int nich0las will weave together techno, rap, Afro rhythms, Jersey club, and hard-hitting percussion. The good time girl will drop playful remixes and euphoric basslines, while CNA will mix eurotrance, baile funk, and Finnish rap. Sala will bring her bass-heavy style, and DJ SNAPDRAGON will surprise with a cocktail of jungle, trance, techno, and Afrobeat.

Saturday – African Dance Music Takes Over

Saturday’s programming is curated by What’s On Joseysradios?, a community built around African music and dance culture. South Africa’s Major League DJz will deliver amapiano energy that lights up the crowd. Togolese-Finnish Will Nams and Filipino-Finnish Kuya Kain will share the stage, blending amapiano and Afro house into their own signature sound.

DJ Seben will bring infectious rhythms and a magnetic stage presence. Ghanaian-Finnish DJ Qwelz will layer Afrobeats, hip hop, and Afro house into her set. NOSLEEP, a Helsinki collective, channels the intensity of UK underground and pirate radio, while MC Enoch Gyasi will keep the crowd buzzing through the night.

Sunday – Star Kids Closes with a Bold, Queer Celebration

Sunday is all about Star Kids, a concept that celebrates self-expression and nightlife as performance art. The lineup includes Jamaican-Canadian DJ and producer BAMBII, who fuses dancehall, hyperpop, jungle, and UK garage into a futuristic club sound.

Spanish-Cuban DJ TOCCORORO will bring a set that merges Latin rhythms with cutting-edge electronic music. Helsinki’s 2THEMAX will deliver high-energy tracks, while Katvyl will push the edges of genre with her dark, edgy sound. Nea2k will travel across styles from dembow to Latin club, and Aino Collin, founder of Star Kids, will set the mood with a confident, glitter-soaked set. Out of Sync, a drag king boy band, will combine dance, lip-sync, and comedy, and “she’s so annoying!!!” will present a performance exploring the many sides of womanhood.
