Cities like London and Istanbul are leading the expansion in Europe, while global hubs such as Shanghai, Dubai, and New York City also see major additions. The surge highlights renewed travel demand and strong investment from international hotel brands seeking to combine luxury, design, and immersive guest experiences.
The year will see major hotel brands introduce highly anticipated properties that combine luxury, design, and immersive experiences. London will welcome Six Senses on March 1, marking the brand’s first UK property.
Located in the Whiteley development in Bayswater, the hotel will feature suites, branded residences, multiple dining options, and the flagship Six Senses Place, a private members’ club focused on social wellness.
Italy’s Lake Como will gain a new retreat-style destination with The Lake Como EDITION.
Opening in March on the western shore near Bellagio, the hotel will offer private terraces, dining experiences, a floating pool, a private dock, and curated waterside activities, including scenic boat tours and wellness rituals.
In Mallorca, Spain, the first Mandarin Oriental in the Balearic Islands will debut in Calvià. The resort promises uninterrupted sea views, two adults-only outdoor pools, and an extensive spa with hydro-massage pools, steam rooms, cold plunges, and aromatherapy showers.

Finally, Gstaad will see The Park Gstaad reopen as a Four Seasons property during the 2026-2027 winter season. The hotel will feature 75 rooms and suites, penthouse residences, restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, and a seasonal ice rink.
