Court Hears Horrifying Details of Couple's Murder and Dismemberment in West London Flat.

A man is on trial after allegedly killing a couple, dismembering their bodies, freezing parts of their remains, and then transporting the rest in suitcases to the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, a court has been told.

Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, faces charges for the murders of Albert Alfonso, 62, and Paul Longworth, 71, who were found dead on July 8 last year in the flat they shared in Shepherd’s Bush, west London.

During a hearing at the Old Bailey, Mosquera admitted to the manslaughter of Mr. Alfonso but denied the murder charges for both men. He is currently standing trial for the two alleged murders.

The court heard that Mr. Alfonso engaged in sexual activities with other men, including Mosquera. The defendant is described by prosecutors as a ‘pornographic performer.’

It was revealed that Mosquera had visited the UK several times and had a relationship with both Mr. Alfonso and Mr. Longworth. These visits allegedly involved sexual acts with Mr. Alfonso in exchange for money. The couple also reportedly traveled to Colombia to meet Mosquera.

“All seemed to enjoy each other’s company,” the prosecutor stated, referring to the trio.

The prosecution claims that Mosquera had ulterior motives when he visited the couple in June of last year. Investigations into the defendant’s computer revealed unsettling searches. Between June and July 8, he allegedly looked up the value of the couple’s home, browsed Facebook Marketplace for a chest freezer, copied Mr. Alfonso’s online bank details, and searched for terms like “serial killers of London” and “Jack the Ripper film.”

On July 8, it is said that Mosquera killed both men at their flat before attempting to steal from them.

“Paul Longworth was struck repeatedly with a hammer to the back of his head, which resulted in a shattered skull,” the prosecutor stated. “Albert Alfonso suffered multiple stab wounds to his torso, face, and neck. The nature of these injuries is not disputed.”

The details took an even darker turn when, on July 10 at around 11:30 PM, a cyclist noticed Mosquera standing next to a large red suitcase on the Clifton Suspension Bridge. The cyclist stopped, thinking Mosquera might need assistance, and saw a large silver trunk nearby. The defendant claimed that the luggage contained car parts, a statement prosecutors argue was a lie.

In reality, the suitcases contained the decapitated and dismembered bodies of Paul Longworth and Albert Alfonso, which Mosquera had transported to Bristol from their home in London, where they had been murdered two days earlier. Police later discovered additional remains of the couple in a chest freezer back at the flat.

The prosecution asserts that Mosquera deliberately planned the murders of both men, intending to kill them and steal from them shortly afterward.

The trial continues as further evidence is examined.
