Billionaire OnlyFans Owner Leonid Radvinsky Dies at 43 After Battle with Cancer

Billionaire OnlyFans Owner Leonid Radvinsky
Leonid Radvinsky, the reclusive billionaire behind OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 after a prolonged battle with cancer. His death was confirmed on Monday in a statement from the company.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky,” the spokesperson said. “Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family has requested privacy at this difficult time.”

Radvinsky, originally from Ukraine, became the majority shareholder and director of Fenix International, OnlyFans’ parent company, after acquiring it in 2018. Under his leadership, OnlyFans transformed from a small subscription platform into a global phenomenon. The platform was initially created by British father-and-son entrepreneurs Guy and Tim Stokely to allow content creators to monetize their work directly from subscribers.

The site’s popularity skyrocketed during the COVID-19 pandemic as creators and audiences moved online. Bloomberg reported that users spent a record $7.2 billion on the platform in 2024 alone. Radvinsky personally received $1.8 billion in dividends between 2021 and 2025, reflecting his control over the company’s rapid growth and profitability.

Despite his success, Radvinsky maintained a low profile and avoided public attention. Last year, he reportedly tried to sell OnlyFans, but sources told the New York Post that finding a buyer proved difficult. His passing leaves the platform’s future uncertain as it navigates a changing media and regulatory landscape.

Radvinsky’s death at a young age underscores both the volatility of internet-based fortunes and the human costs that can accompany even vast success. For many, his story illustrates the rise of creator-driven platforms and the complex world of adult content in the digital economy.
