Hillary Clinton Epstein Cover-Up: Calls for Public Testimony Against Trump

Hillary Clinton Epstein Cover-Up is at the center of renewed political scrutiny as former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has publicly accused President Donald Trump of overseeing what she described as a “cover-up” involving documents connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The remarks were made in an interview published by BBC ahead of her scheduled congressional testimony.

Speaking from Berlin, Clinton called for the complete release of remaining records. “Release the files. They are slow-walking it,” she said, urging transparency. The former Secretary of State emphasized that both she and former President Bill Clinton have repeatedly supported full disclosure.

Last month, the United States Department of Justice released more than three million documents, images, and videos tied to its investigation into Epstein, who died in a New York jail in 2019 in what authorities ruled a suicide. While Bill Clinton’s name appears in several of the files, no evidence has emerged implicating either Clinton in criminal activity.

Both Hillary and Bill Clinton are scheduled to give closed-door depositions before the House Oversight Committee. The committee is examining Epstein’s connections to influential figures and the management of information related to his criminal conduct. Hillary Clinton expressed a preference for public testimony. “We will appear, but we believe it should be done in public. I want it to be fair. I want everyone treated equally,” she said.

Clinton insisted that the couple has “nothing to hide” and highlighted that some lawmakers believe additional internal communications, such as emails and memos, have yet to be made public, despite the Justice Department’s position that all relevant files have been released.

Clinton also alleged that Republicans are attempting to divert attention from Trump, whose name appears numerous times in the released documents. “They’re pointing to a shiny object — dragging in the Clintons, even me, despite the fact that I never met him,” she said. Trump has denied any wrongdoing, emphasizing that being mentioned in the documents does not imply criminal guilt.

Bill Clinton has confirmed flying on Epstein’s private plane in the early 2000s for humanitarian trips tied to the Clinton Foundation but denied ever visiting Epstein’s private island. Hillary Clinton stated that she had no significant contact with Epstein, never traveled on his aircraft, and never visited his island. In the interview, she acknowledged meeting Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse minors, on a few occasions.

Trump responded to Clinton’s claim that the testimonies are politically motivated by stating he had been “totally exonerated.” Hillary Clinton is scheduled to testify on February 26, followed by Bill Clinton the next day.
