Diddy banned substance reports have stirred a new round of attention around the music mogul after fresh claims surfaced about his time inside FCI Fort Dix. The story has moved quickly, with contradicting details from officials, family members, and representatives close to him.

Diddy, serving a four year sentence linked to prostitution related charges, was said to have been caught with a homemade alcoholic drink inside the low security federal prison. The report, first carried by TMZ, described a small batch mix made from Fanta, sugar, and apples. According to the outlet, the mixture had been left to ferment for weeks before it turned into a drink that counts as contraband in the facility.
Officials at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey were reportedly preparing to move him to another unit after finding the drink. The same officials later changed course, meaning he will remain where he is for now.
The claims arrived at a sensitive time. Diddy had spoken openly before his sentencing about getting sober for the first time in twenty five years. In court, he said he was committed to staying clean and leading a peaceful and drug free life. He also described his gratitude for finally feeling clear and sober.
Not long after the new allegations spread online, a statement appeared on his X account before later being deleted. The message denied every detail of the report and called it completely false. The representative insisted that his only focus is on becoming a better version of himself and returning to his family when the time comes.
Juda Engelmayer, the spokesperson for Diddy’s family, provided another response to TMZ. He explained that Diddy is still in his first week at FCI Fort Dix and is working on adjusting to the environment. He added that high profile inmates often become targets of rumors, many of which turn out to be exaggerated or entirely untrue. He asked the public to allow Diddy the space to focus on personal growth.
Just a few days earlier, the first clear photos of Diddy in prison had already spread across social media. The images showed him outside in the yard, talking with other inmates and appearing calm despite the weight of the situation.
