Beyoncé’s genre-defying album Cowboy Carter took home the coveted Album of the Year award—her first win in that category. Despite being the most nominated artist in Grammy history, with a staggering 99 career nods, the Recording Academy had consistently passed her over for the top honor. Until now. Previous albums like Renaissance (2023), Lemonade (2017), Beyoncé (2015), and I Am… Sasha Fierce (2010) had all fallen short in this category. But this time, she reigned supreme.
