Discovery Hotels & Resorts is presenting its portfolio of hotels and resorts across Indonesia at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, as the hospitality group looks to build stronger relationships with European travel buyers, tour operators and tourism industry professionals.

The Indonesian hotel management company is participating in the travel trade event, which takes place at ExCeL London from 3 to 5 November 2026, as part of the Indonesia Pavilion. Its participation is focused on introducing international travel professionals to its properties in Jakarta, West Java, Bali, the Thousand Islands and East Nusa Tenggara.

The portfolio covers several types of accommodation and travel experiences, from city hotels and beachfront resorts to properties in the cooler highlands and coastal destinations. The group is using the London event to highlight the range of places visitors can explore when travelling to Indonesia, beyond the country’s better-known holiday destinations.

In Jakarta, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta offers a central location with 23 acres of tropical gardens, giving guests access to the capital while providing a quieter setting within the city. Discovery SCBD, situated in Jakarta’s business district, caters to both business and leisure travellers, with access to nearby entertainment areas. Discovery Ancol, meanwhile, offers a coastal stay for families, with access to the recreational attractions around Ancol.

Outside the capital, Palace Hotel Cipanas provides accommodation in the cooler highlands of West Java. Its natural surroundings offer an alternative for visitors looking to spend time away from Jakarta’s busy urban environment.

Bali remains an important part of the group’s portfolio. Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel is located on Kuta Beach, with direct access to the beachfront, while LV8 Resort Hotel Bali offers suites overlooking the Indian Ocean and surrounding tropical landscape.

The group’s presence also extends to the Thousand Islands, where Pantara Island offers opportunities for marine activities and leisure stays. In Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, Wisma Alak Resort adds another coastal destination to the portfolio.

According to Discovery Hotels & Resorts, its participation at WTM London reflects an interest in travel experiences that bring accommodation together with local culture, nature and wellness. The company is seeking to connect with European travel businesses that can introduce these destinations and properties to their customers.

“We are not coming to London simply to sell hotel rooms. We want to build meaningful relationships with our partners and introduce them to the diverse experiences Indonesia has to offer. Hospitality in Indonesia is deeply personal. It is about making guests feel welcome and creating memories that last,” said Mr Luis Daniel Garcia, representing Discovery Hotels & Resorts.

The company is part of the Artha Graha Network (AGN), an Indonesian business group with interests in several industries, including hospitality, property development, finance, retail, agribusiness, food, maritime activities, media, telecommunications, manufacturing, transportation, healthcare and education.

Beyond hotel operations, the group also points to its involvement in social and environmental initiatives through Artha Graha Peduli, a non-profit organisation working in areas such as environmental awareness, disaster response, community empowerment and social affairs.

Its conservation-related activities include support for Tambling Wildlife Nature Conservation (TWNC), located at the southern tip of Sumatra. The initiative focuses on biodiversity protection, habitat restoration, wildlife research and community development, alongside responsible nature-based experiences.

Discovery Hotels & Resorts manages 1,732 rooms across its portfolio, including Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Bali, Discovery SCBD, Discovery Ancol and Palace Hotel Cipanas. Its properties also offer restaurants, recreational facilities and business services.

At WTM London 2026, the group is inviting travel trade professionals, media representatives and buyers to meet its delegation and discuss potential partnerships. Its participation places Indonesian accommodation options in front of an international travel industry audience, with a portfolio that spans major urban centres, island destinations and resort locations.
