Nancy Isime makes her debut as an executive producer with Loving Itohan, a new Nollywood drama starring Uzor Arukwe, Martha Ehinome Orhiere and Dorathy Bachor, which is set to arrive in cinemas nationwide on November 6, 2026.
The actress has unveiled the official trailer for the film, offering a first look at a story built around love, personal conflict and secrets that threaten to change the lives of those involved.
At the centre of the drama is Itohan, a woman forced to confront difficult personal choices as unexpected circumstances challenge her understanding of love and the reality of her situation. As hidden truths begin to emerge, she must navigate the emotional consequences of the decisions before her.
For Isime, the project marks a new chapter in her career, taking on executive production responsibilities alongside her work as an actress. The release of the trailer follows her earlier announcement that she would be stepping into the role for her first feature film as an executive producer.
Sharing her excitement about the project, Isime described the film as the result of considerable hard work, dedication and a shared commitment to bringing the story to the screen. She also expressed her hope that audiences would connect with Itohan and her journey.
Directed by Orobosa Ikponmwen, Loving Itohan is produced by Emmanuel Izuoba, with Isime serving as executive producer. The film features Isime in the lead role, alongside Uzor Arukwe, Martha Ehinome Orhiere, Dorathy Bachor, Chioma Nwosu, Obehi Aburime and Grace Coker.
The ensemble brings together familiar Nollywood names and performers whose roles contribute to the film’s exploration of relationships and the difficult choices people face when love becomes complicated.
