Hilary Swank is expecting her third child with her husband, Philip Schneider, three years after the couple welcomed twins, the two-time Academy Award-winning actress has announced.

The 52-year-old actress, best known for her role in Million Dollar Baby, shared the news on Wednesday, October 14, through a playful family video that appears to suggest the baby is due in December.
In the video, Swank, Schneider and their twins dance in the dark with glow sticks attached to their bodies. Swank then appears with a baby bump, with a tiny glow stick figure positioned on it to represent the couple’s expected arrival.
“A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December,” Swank wrote in the caption, using humour to announce the pregnancy.
The announcement comes three years after Swank revealed that she was expecting twins. In October 2022, the actress announced that she and Schneider were preparing to become parents for the first time. She was 48 at the time.
The couple welcomed their son, Ohm, and daughter, Aya, in April 2023. Their new baby will be their third child together and will join the twins later this year, according to the December timing suggested in Swank’s announcement.
