Copenhagen Fashion Week Opens Applications for AW27 Schedule and CPHFW NEWTALENT

Copenhagen Fashion Week AW27 applications are now open for brands that want to join the official show and presentation schedule, as well as the CPHFW NEWTALENT programme.

The AW27 edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week will take place from 1 to 5 February 2027. Brands interested in participating must submit their applications by 6 October 2026.

The application period is an important step for both established and emerging fashion brands looking to present their collections during one of the Nordic fashion industry’s major seasonal events.

Key AW27 dates

  • 6 October 2026: Application deadline
  • Week of 26 October 2026: Selected brands will be notified
  • 24 November 2026: AW27 brand lineup will be announced
  • 27 November 2026: Official AW27 show and presentation schedule will be released
  • 1 to 5 February 2027: Copenhagen Fashion Week AW27
CPHFW NEWTALENT applications are also open

Alongside the main schedule, Copenhagen Fashion Week is also accepting applications for CPHFW NEWTALENT for the AW27 season.

The programme gives emerging designers an opportunity to present their work within the Copenhagen Fashion Week platform. For newer brands, being part of the programme can provide more than a runway or presentation slot. It can also create opportunities to meet international media, buyers, stylists and other industry professionals.

For brands still building their position in the international market, the deadline of 6 October is therefore an important date to keep in mind.

SS27 talk programme is now available on Spotify

The Copenhagen Fashion Week SS27 talk programme is also now available as podcasts on Spotify.

The podcast release gives audiences another way to access discussions from the previous season without needing to attend the physical events in Copenhagen.

The talks offer useful insight into the ideas and conversations shaping the fashion industry, making the programme relevant not only to designers but also to fashion professionals, students, media and anyone following developments in contemporary fashion.

Copenhagen Fashion Week image bank is available

Copenhagen Fashion Week has also made its visual material available through its image bank.

The collection includes runway, backstage, event and street style images from the fashion week programme. These images provide access to the visual record of the event and can be useful for media coverage, editorial work and industry-related reporting, subject to the applicable usage conditions.

For fashion media, the image bank is particularly useful because it brings together different parts of the event rather than focusing only on runway photography. Backstage moments, street style and event images often provide a broader picture of how a fashion week operates and how collections are received beyond the catwalk.

What brands should know about AW27

The most important date for brands considering an application is 6 October 2026. After the deadline, the next major milestone will come in the week beginning 26 October, when brands are expected to receive notification about their applications.

The official lineup will then be announced on 24 November, followed three days later by the release of the full show and presentation schedule.

This timeline gives participating brands several weeks between confirmation and the February fashion week to prepare collections, presentations, media activity and other production details.

Being included in the official Copenhagen Fashion Week schedule places a brand within a concentrated international fashion calendar. It can help designers attract attention from buyers, press and other industry professionals who travel to Copenhagen specifically for the season.

However, participation is only one part of the process. The quality of the collection, the strength of the brand identity and how effectively a label communicates its work will ultimately determine how much attention it receives.

For emerging designers in particular, the combination of CPHFW NEWTALENT, the official schedule and the wider Copenhagen fashion community can provide a valuable platform to develop international visibility.

AW27 applications deadline

Brands interested in applying for the Copenhagen Fashion Week AW27 schedule or CPHFW NEWTALENT should make sure their applications are submitted before 6 October 2026.

With the AW27 shows taking place from 1 to 5 February 2027, the coming months will determine which brands will form the next official Copenhagen Fashion Week lineup.
