Flow Festival 2026 brought 91,000 visitors to Helsinki’s Suvilahti over the weekend, once again offering a diverse and timely programme filled with music, art, food and festival atmosphere.

Last year, sombr rose to global stardom and made his first appearance in Finland, captivating festivalgoers with his highly anticipated performance, which had thousands singing along. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds closed out the weekend’s main stage performances with an impressive two-hour spectacle. As evening fell, the band’s intense energy created an electrifying atmosphere among the audience.
Geese’s honest rock spirit took over the Silver Arena and commanded the attention of the large crowd. Later, as Sunday evening descended, Swedish pop star Lykke Li made the large tent feel intimate with her ethereal performance. The Black Tent’s closing act was British duo Lambrini Girls, whose distinctive performance, skilfully combining politics and fun, was truly exceptional.

Sunday at the Balloon 360° stage featured an eclectic mix of musical genres. During the day, Jukka Eskola and Teppo Mäkynen’s Drum’n’Brass project captivated the audience alongside the Guards Brass Collective, formed from musicians of the Kaartin Soittokunta military band. In the early evening, Jamaican roots reggae pioneers The Congos took to the stage among the audience, followed by South Korean trio Sailor Honeymoon, whose punk performance was a striking antithesis to hyper-commercial K-pop.

Sunday also marked the start of the much-loved Family Sunday, when the festival gates opened to the youngest members of the audience. The children’s programme included performances by popular Skidit Disko and the Helsinki Dance Institute, while DJ Academy Helsinki introduced children to the world of DJing.
