Drone footage captured flames engulfing the entire building as portions of the structure collapsed. Firefighters deployed multiple units, including an aerial ladder platform, to combat the inferno. Roads around the site, including the A523 Mill Street, were closed, and the public was urged to avoid the area. Local residents described witnessing the fire as harrowing. One eyewitness said, “Can’t believe we came across it as one of the first, shaking like a leaf, horrific.
