Kayla Nicole Jones is facing a lawsuit after her hairstylist accused her of assault during a work trip in Los Angeles. The hairstylist, Hanissatou Adam, professionally known as Nissa The Super Stylist, filed the suit claiming the alleged incident took place in 2024 while they were traveling together for a music video project.
Court documents indicate that tensions arose after Adam asked Jones several questions, which the influencer reportedly found irritating. Adam claims Jones warned her to stop and threatened to slap her if the questioning continued. The following day, after a long day on set, Adam says she overheard Jones making complaints about how she had been treated.
According to the lawsuit, Adam attempted to resolve the issue calmly, seeking a reasonable conversation. The situation, however, reportedly escalated, and Adam alleges that Jones “swung her arm in an intentional manner and contacted” her eye.
After the alleged incident, Adam says she retreated to her room at a shared Airbnb and called a friend to pick her up. She claims that Jones continued shouting insults at her from outside the door while she waited.
Adam is pursuing legal action against Jones for assault, battery, and emotional distress. At the time the lawsuit became public, representatives for Kayla Nicole Jones had not issued a statement regarding the allegations.
